Tube Evaluation and Repairs

5 Star Imaging can perform evaluations and repairs for most CT and Diagnostic tubes. Tubes fail for various reason; some failures can be corrected to maximize the life of the tube.

Prior to performing any repair, the unit will be evaluated and the repair requirements will be assessed. $250 will be charged for Diagnostic X-ray tube evaluation, and $350 for CT tubes.

Pricing for repairs does not include major parts such as; Stators Pumps. Heat Exchangers, Casing and/or Parts of casing.

New Tubes Returned for Restocking

5 Star Imaging will accept tubes for restocking provided they meet original specifications and are returned in original cartons via return air insured for full value, shipment prepaid. A ten percent (10%) restocking charge will be deducted from credit issued to cover the cost of testing, handling and repackaging. Prior to shipment, contact 5 Star imaging for authorization.

Tubes Returned for Warranty Consideration

Ship only prepaid in proper container and insured for full value. Enclose completed Tube Report. Warranty inspection/evaluation will not begin without tube report.

Housing Deposit

All tubes (X-ray and II) sent out on an "exchange" basis will be charged an additional "Housing Deposit." Housing deposits vary depending on the tube type being replaced. Once the "exchange housing" is returned to 5 Star Imaging and is deemed acceptable, a credit memo for the full amount of the housing deposit will be sent to the customer.
